G.TREMBLAY HOME DESIGN began as a proprietorship focused on residential design in 1981, with shared offices on Dolphin Street in Sechelt.
In 1986 we moved to Langley. Here, our work grew to include apartment buildings, townhouse developments, and commercial and industrial projects. Our work continued to include 2–3 homes per year on the Sunshine Coast. We also built another home.
In 1994, we decided to take a break. We bought and refitted a 35' cutter, and after some local cruising, sailed to Mexico. We lived off grid, on power generated by our solar panels and our small diesel engine. Four years later, we returned to the Sunshine Coast, and built our home in Secret Cove, where we now live and work.
We try to incorporate efficiency and economics in the design of new homes and the renewal of existing ones by keeping the solution to your needs simple. We also offer Energy Efficiency Evaluations for existing homes that provide you access to federal and provincial grant incentive programs. See www.amerispec.ca/vancouver for more details.
